Saturday I spent the morning hours with Lucas, Levi and mommy Kim at my first ever in home Littlest Heroes session. I wasn't nervous to begin with- I had done my homework and mapped out the location of their home (haha Ilove my GPS)! I timed it perfectly knowing full well that it was supposed to take me 35 minutes to get to their home... yah, Saturday morning I decided to go a different route and it only took me 6 minutes to get there! I tell you what, it wasn't until I had to sit still that I got nervous... I called mom, told her to say a little prayer and then moved on... drank a 930am Diet Mountain Dew (*LOL* wow, I know!!! I'm a diet soda-a-holic!), listened to some worship music and got my camera gear ready! I worried a little- with no reason to! My Littlest Heroes Mommy was such a sweet, kind woman and welcomed me in to her home. I was introduced to Lucas- my littlest hero and his little brother Levi; both boys so sweet. Lucas is a 3, almost 4 year old little boy with delayed development. Both little boys special in their very own ways! What an amazing experience to see the love that this family has for each other! :) Without further a-do here's a sneak peak from Lucas's Littlest Hero photo shoot {My favorite pic & slideshow of images)!
for paper can be erased.
Nor is it etched on stone, for stone can be broken.
But it is inscribed on a heart and there it shall remain forever."
Love your section on the littlest heroes. We were "accepted" to take part in this too! I saw your website and your facebook page and felt that you would be a great match for our daughter, Madeline. Hopefully Littlest Heroes will be in touch with you soon! Madeline was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was 3 weeks old. She is a happy 17 month old. Hope we get to meet! :)
